Tax Administrative Support (Per Diem)


We are seeking a reliable and organized Tax Administrative Support (Per Diem) to join our team for the upcoming tax season. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to handle sensitive financial data, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, and verify tax documents submitted by clients via mail, email, portal, and in person.
  • Create and organize files for client tax documents for tax return preparation.
  • Organize, file and/or scan tax documents into the firm’s document management system.
  • Assist with answering phones and covering the receptionist’s lunch break.
  • Provide excellent customer service by following up with clients for missing information (i.e., 8879 forms).
  • Handle other administrative tasks as needed.


Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Experience: Previous clerical, administrative, or office experience preferred; tax season experience is a plus but not required.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
    • Excellent communication and client service skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
    • Ability to spend long hours sitting or standing in front of a computer.
    • Work Hours: This is a per-dem, seasonal position based on business needs during tax season; Hours may vary depending on workload and availability.
    • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
