Christopher Fundora, CFP, CRPS recently participated in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society's annual conference.
The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society (PCICS) is dedicated to promoting excellence in care and practice for pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. In many pediatric centers, cardiovascular disease is the single largest category of patients in a critical care unit. Founded in 2003, the society is an international professional forum of 1,100 members in 44 countries. While the medical field has made remarkable strides in the field of pediatric cardiac critical care, the society is focused on the continued advancement of clinical care, research and collaboration.
